About Me
I am an IT Specialist with various work experience in government, academia, and the private sector. Currently, I am the Digital Marketing Manager at SolBridge International School of Business, South Korea. My role is not limited to managing and improving the school’s website, creating and executing SolBridge online marketing strategy and projects including Email, SEO, Social Media, and paid advertising.
I possess a Master’s degree in Information and Telecommunications Technology from South Korea’s premier Science and Technology University, KAIST, where I focused on IT Services, Cloud Computing, and Business Process Engineering and Management. I also hold a first class Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Makerere University, Uganda. I am a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and a Certified IT Service Management (ITIL v.3 Foundation) professional.
While at KAIST, I was part of the Global Creative Software (GCS) project, a Korean government-funded project to transform and re-engineer the business processes of promising Korean software development firms. I provided technical support in business process modelling for ForCS (www.forcs.com), one of the companies that participated in the project, by using BPMN 2.0 Standard notation and Visual Paradigm
Before joining KAIST, I worked with the National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U), the IT Regulator in Uganda in various capacities/roles from 2010 to 2014. Some of my responsibilities at NITA-U included; Executive staff in the Executive Director; Business Process Outsourcing and IT Enabled Services (BPO/ITES) project assistant among others.
I am passionate about ICTs for development, Business Process Re-engineering, travelling and fitness. I am also the Lead Organizer of TEDxWoosongUniverty an independently organised event using TED conference format.
